Frequently Asked Questions
Everything You Need to Know Before You Begin
Have questions about studying abroad? We have answers. Here are the most common questions our students ask before beginning their journey with Admission Abroad.
Entry requirements vary significantly by course and country. For clinical medicine programmes, universities typically require strong results in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at the Class 12 level, along with English language proficiency scores. Some countries also require entrance examinations such as the UCAT or BMAT. Postgraduate medical programmes require a relevant undergraduate degree and may have additional clinical experience requirements. Our counsellors will provide a precise eligibility assessment based on your academic profile.
Duration varies significantly by discipline and level. Undergraduate medicine programmes typically run five to six years. Postgraduate programmes in disciplines such as Public Health, Physiotherapy, Pharmacology, or Nursing are generally one to two years in duration. Biotechnology and Biological Sciences degrees at the undergraduate level are typically three to four years. Our counsellors will provide a clear timeline based on your chosen discipline and institution.
Yes. Several universities across our destination countries offer scholarships for international students pursuing medical and health sciences programmes. Government-funded scholarships and bursaries are also available in certain destinations. At Admission Abroad, we identify the scholarship opportunities aligned with your medical discipline and profile, and assist you through the entire application process.
Post-graduation practice rights depend on the country, the specific qualification, and the relevant medical licensing authority. In many destinations, international graduates must complete additional licensing examinations or supervised practice periods before being eligible for independent clinical practice. Our counsellors provide clear, destination-specific guidance on post-graduation pathways and licensing requirements for each medical discipline in our portfolio.
